Global Scripture Service
The Danish Bible Society handles Global Scripture Service (GSS) on behalf of the United Bible Societies. GSS is a one-stop online sale of the Bible and the Scriptures in a variety of languages.
The purpose of GSS is to provide services to Bible Societies all over the world so that they need only contact one provider when purchasing Bibles or Scriptures in other languages than their own – for instance in order to sell or distribute Bibles to emigrants or refugees.
Thus, GSS manages purchasing, selling and distribution of Biblical literature to national Bible Societies, but not to private persons as this is handled by the national Bible Societies.
